May 20th: Hohhot to Ordos

We started the day off with another crack at the race course we did yesterday. Beat our time by a full 10 seconds. Then we headed off for Ordos over a few nice highways. Along the way we saw nuclear power plants everywhere. Also, it seems like many buildings in Inner Mongolia have these numbers spray painted on the side.

We don’t know why but it’s on every wall in every rural village. Close to Ordos we stopped at the circuit for a lap and did pretty well, this time it was all over asphalt. We got a pretty great time and headed back to the hotel for a relaxing evening, excited for the first day of camping tomorrow.
